When you're ready to claim land, there are a few simple steps to follow to ensure your land, builds, and chests are protected from grief and theft.
In order to get the claim shovel and the claim stick, both of which you'll need to claim land, type in the command /kit claim.
Once you've obtained the claim stick and shovel, scrolling over them will tell you how many claim blocks you have available.
With claim shovel in hand, right click on the first corner. A diamond block will appear, prompting you to select the second corner.
After selecting the second corner you will see your claim boundaries.
Subdividing your claim allows and subsequently trusting someone to that subdivision only allows you to allow people in your claim with build permissions in their area, but without full access to your entire claim.
After using your claim stick and identifying where you want the subdivided claim to be, start by typing /subdivideclaim.
Once you've done this, use the shovel to select the two corners where you want the subdivision to be. You will receive visual confirmation when you do this successfully.

Resizing your claim is very similar to your first claim attempt. Using the claim stick, right click in the claim to see your boundaries.
Unlike claiming where there are two separate corners, to adjust a claim, you adjust it one corner at a time.
After identifying where your existing claim boundaries are using the claim stick, right click on the corner of the claim using the shovel. After you've done this, move the corner to where you want it and right click again to confirm.
/claimslist Lists a player's claims and claim block details.
/trust Gives another player permission to edit in your claim.
/untrust Revokes any permissions granted to a player in your claim.
/untrust all Removes all permissions for all players in your claim.
/accesstrust Gives a player permission to use your buttons, levers, and beds.
/containertrust Gives a player permission to use your containers and crafting gear.
/trustlist Lists the permissions for the claim you're standing in.
/claimexplosions Toggles if explosions are allowed in the claim.
/buyclaimblocks Converts sever money to claim blocks.
/sellclaimblocks Converts claim blocks to server money.
/trapped Gets a player out of a land claim their trapped inside.
To delete your claim, stand in the claim that you want to delete and type /abandonclaim. If you want to abandon all of your claims type /abandonallclaims.
